We made it through the winter! It’s springtime and endorsements are in the air! Come join us to meet local candidates running in the 34th and 38th Council Districts and participate in our first endorsement vote of the season! Councilmember Antontio Reynoso and Councilmember Carlos Menchaca--who have both visited NKD in recent months and were 2013 endorsees--are confirmed to attend.

We'll also give an update on our Criminal Justice Reform platform, which was finalized at the last Policy Committee meeting, and will be up for an adoption vote this month.

Don’t forget: only NKD members can participate in endorsement and policy votes, which requires attendance at two NKD events in the past year and payment of annual dues. If you’re not caught up, you can pay your dues here.
