NKD's next General Meeting will be Thursday, September 14 at 7:00pm. We hope you'll join us! This meeting will be fully in person at Endless Life Brewing (585 Franklin Ave, Crown Heights). Please RSVP here to let us know you're coming.
At this meeting, we'll vote on a proposed health policy platform for the club. We will also get organized for the November general election, strategize for Brooklyn Can't Wait 2024, and discuss County Committee and Rep Your Block 2024.
This will be an interactive meeting — we'll do some small-group work sessions, and food and drink will be available for purchase. All are welcome! Here's the agenda:
- Vote on our new proposed Health Policy platform
- Organizing for the General Election: how we'll help Justin Brannan defend his Council Seat and ways you can plug in
- County Committee plans: will there be a CC meeting this year? What changes can we advocate for?
- Preparing for 2024: Rep Your Block, Brooklyn Can't Wait and NKD ExCo elections
- Committee updates: Policy, Membership, Communications, and more.
You must be up-to-date on club dues and have attended one other NKD meeting in the last 12 months in order to be eligible to vote.
