July 24 General Meeting
NKD's next General Meeting will be on Thursday July 24 at 7pm at First Unitarian in Brooklyn Heights (121 Pierrepont), in-person only this time. Agenda:
- Analysis of the June primary and what it means for our goals
- Planning for the general election, and for District Leader races next year
- Policy: Discussion of the Charter Revision proposals
- Social Action: How can we help educate and defend neighbors from ICE?
- Orientation for new members
We'll also have breakout groups for working on some of these issues. Save the date, and hope to see you on 7/24!

A Win for the Democratic Coalition of the Future
Zohran Mamdani will be the Democratic nominee for NYC mayor in November! Meanwhile, NKD's endorsed candidates for City Council (Shahana Hanif, Alexa Avilés, Crystal Hudson, and Lincoln Restler), Brooklyn Borough President (Antonio Reynoso), and Public Advocate (Jumaane Williams) all won decisive victories in their Democratic primary races.
