2019 Ballot Initiative
In the November 2019 general election, New York City voters had the opportunity to vote on five ballot questions, each of which contained several proposed changes to the New York City Charter. There were a total of 19 proposals grouped into five ballot questions. Voters were able to provide a Yes/No vote on the five ballot questions, rather than each of the 19 proposals.
NKD recommended a “YES” vote on all ballot questions.
To help voters, we provided two documents outlining the Charter Revision ballot initiatives.
- The first document was a quick guide overview for the five ballot questions.
- The second document provided in-depth reasoning on our platform regarding the Charter revisions and an explanation of each of the questions to help inform voters.
