A big part of our January meeting will be elections for NKD's 2018 Executive Committee. Are you ready to step up and get active? If you're an active member who's been coming out for at least six months, you're eligible to lead! No harm in nominating yourself or a friend! Check out the ExCo position descriptions, and let's encourage each other to step into leadership roles.
We'll also be voting on a proposal that our Policy Committee passed recently. The proposal seeks to reform the process by which our Brooklyn Democratic party fills vacant public offices. Check it out before the vote. We’ll decide whether to put the club’s stamp of approval on it before the County Committee meeting on Jan 24th.
If your annual dues are paid and you've attended at least one meeting before this one, you're eligible to vote!
