Not sure about you, but we're pretty fired up and ready for action right now. Let's put our heads together at our September NKD Meeting, next Wednesday, September 27 at 7PM sharp, and discuss our next actions.
This past week proved that the old style of Party Boss politics are alive and well in NYC. Frank Seddio wanted us to believe that his was a kinder, gentler Kings County Democratic County Committee, and that gone were the days of Meade Esposito, Clarence Norman Jr., and Vito Lopez. This past week Frank showed his true colors. At next week's meeting we'll debrief on how Frank Seddio stole the 26th state Senate seat, and we'll talk about how to fix this broken process. In the meantime, check out our Twitter feed for the play-by-play and links to news articles.
We'll also report back from our annual True Blue celebration last month (a huge success!) and all the Primary season canvassing we did for our endorsed candidates (another huge success!).
Looking forward, we'll have a presentation from our Constitutional Convention (ConCon) subcommittee, and look at other things coming in the next few months.
Please share on Facebook! We hope to see you there.
