Thanks to everyone who came out to our brand new meeting location at the Event Space at Genius. We moved to a roomier spot to accommodate the ever-growing membership at NKD—and the turnout definitely did justice to the bigger digs.

This February meeting saw a lot of newbies (who attended a 6:30pm orientation for first-timers) and even more returning members who got to participate in the democratic process by voting on bylaws and new NKD leadership. We also heard about new threats to immigrants in our community, how we’re fighting IDC, and proposed reforms to Brooklyn's County Committee.
